Houston’s Via Colori is hitting all the right notes this year. Aside from some amazing art, it also raises money for a great cause. 

Via Colori kicks off on November 21, and will end with the weekend on November 22. A whole bunch of brilliant artists will come together, creating gorgeous works of art directly on the pavement. Along with a number of unique creations, there will be 10 featured art installations at the festival. Chalk art will be created live, and people actually get to watch the artists at work! All the action will happen at Hermann Square next to Houston City Hall and McKinney, Bagby and Walker streets.

The festival has also been a fundraiser for The Center for Hearing and Speech, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with hearing loss learn to listen, speak and read. Typically attended by about 30,000 people, the festival collects money from the attendees, as well as the money that goes into buying squares of sidewalk where the murals are actually made. It’s also known for some of the most brilliant chalk art seen in the country. Take a look at some of the murals at the festival:
