That’s right! The birthplace of Bollywood will get its own music festival, and it’s going to be called Bollywood Music Project.
Curated by Event Capital & TM Talent Management, Bollywood Music Project (BMP) will see Bollywood/indie icons (we hear Amit Trivedi is going make his delightful presence felt) taking the stage over two days filled with nothing but Bollywood music across all kinds of genres.

This is the first time Event Capital is going to organise a music event and they intend to leave no stone unturned.
The festival will have stages dedicated to experimental, commercial and alternative music to cater to everyone. The lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s expected to come out soon.
It is also looking at global expansion, according to Event Capital’s CEO Swaroop Banerjee. “The reason it’s named Bollywood Music Project is because it’s going to be bigger and better in the future. Mumbai will be the host city forever, but in the later years, we will take the format globally, especially to the Middle East,” says Swaroop.
